After attending medical school at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, Dr. Bangura completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He served as a chief cardiology fellow at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, where he completed his general cardiology fellowship. He rounded out his training at DMC Harper University Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, in 2018.
Throughout his practice, Dr. Bangura has engaged in various research projects, presentations, and publications. Dr. Bangura performs all coronary interventions and uses the radial first approach. He is committed to the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease and has a particular interest in treating peripheral artery and venous disease.
